How to Reset a Ninja Coffee Bar?

It’s not a rare occurrence that you might find yourself in need of resetting your ninja coffee bar. Maybe it has started acting up or maybe there is an issue with its filter and needs replacing? Whatever be the case, here are some troubleshooting tips on what to do when you encounter this problem!

Make sure all water lines from the brewer and carafe are clear

If any of these parts have collected residue over time, just give them a good rinse before proceeding with making another brew for the best results. This will also help get rid of any unwanted flavor left lingering after previous use too.

Clean out the carafe completely if necessary

To ensure top-quality coffee every time, you will want to ensure that the carafe has been cleaned and is free of any residue.

Take a look at your brew basket

If it looks like there are grounds making their way into the cup instead of being filtered out, this might be an indicator that something needs cleaning! Either use some hot water or vinegar mixed with water in order for soap/residue buildup to break down easily. Rinse off afterward and place back inside brewer ready for use again.

Resetting ninja coffee bar power switch

Touching faulty wires can sometimes cause problems so make sure they have not come loose from where they should be attached before proceeding to reset. The fix often consists simply of pressing the power switch in the right way, and waiting for it to turn off.

Frequently Asked Questions

At the bottom of the water tank, there's a valve that's designed to open automatically during the brewing process. If your Ninja Coffee Bar can't pull enough water from the reservoir, it will beep five times and stop brewing.

Vinegar and hot water together will loosen any build-up as well as deodorize and disinfect the inside of your Keurig. Run the Keurig as you normally would make coffee. When the cycle has completed, pour the water and vinegar back into the reservoir and run the coffee maker again.

Using too fine a grind and/or too much coffee will cause a build-up of water that overflows into the gap between the paper filter and the filter basket. This causes a real lot of ground of coffee to bypass as there's absolutely no filtration from the filter basket, resulting in a very muddy cup of coffee.
